“How many feelings can one heart hold? She looked at her grandmother. At her mother. At the man protecting his family. Infinite, Luna thought. The way the universe is infinite. It is light and dark and endless motion; it is space and time, and space within space, and time within time. And she knew: there is no limit to what the heart can carry.” (364)

This is one of the quotes that was unforgettable to me. I found it so touching to the heart. The way it was worded made it better. I always kept a small limit on my heart because I thought I couldn't carry those feelings in my heart. I thought about how many people have me in their hearts and I don't. So, I let more people in my life and there was no limit in my heart anymore. It was a good decision for me to do . This quote just reminded me of that time.

“I love you, Grandmama.”

“I know, darling,” Xan wheezed. “I love . . .”

And she drifted away, loving everything.” (379)

This was the other quote that was unforgettable to me. It made me sad and shed a tear. It reminded me of my grandma. She passed away a few months ago and I'm still torn about it and shocked. We were really close back when I was living in Egypt. We had to come back to America and she went to Finland. She visited a couple of years ago and it made me very happy to see her. We spoke a couple of times on the phone but we slowly grew apart. I'm never gonna see her again and the last time I spoke to her was a year ago. I never got to say goodbye and The part where she said " I love.." is what it felt like. I thought the writing made it more heartfelt and ending it like that drew me in. If I were to write something sad I would do it like this.
